It is a beautiful hill station, located in the Karbi Anglong district of Assam. It is a well-popular tourist destination and an ideal place to enjoy with family. There are several nearby places which are also serves as wonderful picnic spots. The entire region is filled with deep silence. One can enjoy the serene and peaceful atmosphere here. In and around Diphu, there are several interesting places such as Karbi Anglong district, and these are in Amreng, Khanduli, Kohora, and Umwang. One can visit the fabulous grass lands and moulds in Khanduli. There is also a wildlife sanctuary called Kaziranga which is again a prominent picnic spot in Diphu. There are several fun filled activities are available such as horse riding, golfing, hang gliding and trekking. Bird watching is another interesting tourist activity. This is a wonderful place for adventure buffs.

It was established in 1886 and located in Lorulango. There are around 487 artifactsand socio cultural important items are displayed here. It has the image of Lord Narasimha belons to 13th century. It is a perfect place to get an insight of bygone era.
