BHEDAGHAT
Bhedaghat is a lovely little town located in the Jabalpur district of Madhya Pradesh. Spectacularly placed on the banks of the holy Narmada, Bhedaghat boasts of an exhilarating ambiance. Visit to the Dhuandar falls form a prime part of the sightseeing tour. These gurgling waterfalls heighten the beauty of the place and are a source of instant attractions among the tourists. Dhuandar literally means Dhuan (smoke/mist) - dhar (water flow). The heavy flow of the water covers mist in the entire place and hence it is named as Dhaundar. Another must visit site is the Marble Rocks, the spectacular 100 feet rock series that is royally lined on the both sides of River Narmada. It is a fabulous sight to witness the rays of the morning sun shining on the white marble rocks and producing shadows of the mountains in the charming waters. It is a totally out of the world experience to enjoy a boat ride in the cool waters of Narmada and fill your eyes with the lofty pinnacles elegantly placed on either sides.
Bandar Kodini is also another prime place. The Marble Rocks narrows down so close at one point that the monkeys can easily leap across the gorge. Hence the point is called Bandar Kodini. Chausath Yogini temple is a prime devotional place.
This scenic locale with the fascinating and amazing spectacle of nature is a recommended picnic spot for those who prefer to enjoy the lovely warmth of nature.

Marble Rocks : Marble Rocks, the spectacular 100 feet rock series that is located on both sides of River Narmada. It is a fabulous sight to witness the rays of the morning sun shining on the white marble rocks and producing shadows of the mountains in the cool waters is just amazing. It is a totally out of the world experience to enjoy a boat ride in the cool waters of Narmada and fill your eyes with the lofty pinnacles elegantly placed on either sides. The recent lighting facilities provided to the rock adds beauty. Adventure streaks can try out crossing the swollen river through a ropeway.

HOW TO REACH
By Air: Jabalpur airport which is 23 kms from Bhedaghat connects Delhi and Bhopal with regular domestic flights.
By Bus: Many buses and taxis play from Jabalpur to Bhedaghat.
By Rail: The major railhead is in Jabalpur. Trains travelling to the major cities stop here.
