The founder and the first people to settle in hurling village were people from Kun village which is near(hurling).late sh.lobsang dorjey and his son chhemed dorjey who were the main individuals forming a settlement.Before moving from Kun village to another settlement(hurling) in (1950) they took help from there family members and relatives in building this village.later lobsang dorjey his youngest son chhemed dorjey who was well literate and knew (Hindi) the language which was must during those times.He conveyed his thoughts to his father about cultivating this land making it useful and productive.This idea given by lte Sh.chhemed dorjey later became productive,progressive and we'll established because he used to travel kinnaur and negotiate to know how people r living and cultivating.The staple diet were wheat,barley,jaggery ,shrubs and herbs.The only thing that was not enough and sufficient was water to cultivate.They knew that the land is fertile and it can be cultivated so they started to cultive and grew (apples).which later became a source of income.Later on when the place came under the govt auth.the place got sanctioned by lte.Sh yashwant Singh parmar and lte.shri.lata thakur under the efforts of lte Sh.chhemed dorjey and his father lobsang dorjey. Now,its we'll established and and three members of the kun village r left the only true heir and of hurling.Still,The old remarks can be seen (old houses and infrastructure)Edit below overview about Hurling
