Devil’s Kitchen
It is extremely dangerous place located between Green valley view and pillar rocks. Those who seek adventure can visit this deep fall. It is always recommended to seek help of local people for the safe journey.
Pillar’s Rock
It is becoming famous picnic spot in Kodaikanal and best place to capture unique photographs at the backdrop of granite boulders standing erect. These rocks are measuring 400 feet above the ground level. The gap between two pillars is known as Devil’s Kitchen. The shady woods and serene atmosphere made this place outstanding.
Berijam Lake
This is one of the major tourist attraction in Kodaikanal located 21 km from the city center. The lake is beautifully surrounded by green pine trees. Boating is the most favored tourist activity. One can enjoy variety of fish species, leopard, bison and several birds which makes it as wonderful angler’s heaven.
Bryant Park
This is famous botanical garden and well known for its annual flower and vegetable show. These shows are conducted in the month of May. It is a place to enjoy the beauty of glasshouse which houses several ferns, wide array of flowers and ornamental plants.
Bear Shola Falls
It is an ideal picnic spot to beat the heat. The famous waterfall is located just 2 km from the Kodaikanal bus stand. Most beautiful and secluded spot for picnickers to enjoy the sublime climate.
Green Valley View (Suicide Point)
This is an excellent place which offers panoramic and picturesque views of valleys, hills, plains and Vaigai Dam. The dangerous yet beautiful valley measuring 5000 feet drop is best visited in early morning as the entire valley is filled with mist and gives mesmerizing experience.
