Dalhousie

Dalhousie is one of the most exacted hill stations of the state Himachal Pradesh. This place is famous for its natural beauty and pleasurable climate. It has glorious colonial architecture which includes some of the churches. The location of Dalhousie provides classic views of the plains and like a farsighted silver channel, the river Ravi bends and deforms beneath Dalhousie. It also provides a pleasing trekking experience to toddlers as well as severe trekkers.  This elegant place offers attractive views of hills ending in the hustle of mountains and abundant valleys. The splendid rivers of Dalhousie bend and flow among the plush thick forest of the planes makes for colorful view.

Bakrota Hills
The charming and fascinated Bakrota hill provides the tourists a refreshing walk round the hills besides a majestic view of snow clad peaks.

BaraPathar
It is small beautiful temple in the middle of thick woods.

Dainkund Walk
This place offers a smooth, sloping walk close to an Air Force base in Dalhousie, which leads to a temple.

Alah water Tank
 This is an important water tank in the Dalhousie, holding 100,000 gallons.

Churches
The four important glorious churches in Dalhousie to be seen are St.Andrews church, St.Patricks church, church at Balun, St.Francis church at Subash Chowk, and St.Johns church at Gandhi Chowk.

Panchpula
It is located at 3km from Dalhousie. This is a colorful site where a stream enriches a series of ponds.

Kalatop
Kalatop is 10km away from Dalhousie. This wild life sanctuary is a habitation to the Ghoral and Himalayan black bear.

Subhash Baoli
This place is surrounded by majestic trees providing peaceful environment.

Dalhousie is famous for Tibetan handicrafts including pullovers and carpets. It is also quite cheaper to buy Slippers, Rumals and Shawls at Chamba town.
