First the Marvelous Islands
Havelock Island : It is the prettiest and most visited islands. Thick cover of forest and unpolluted beaches are the major attractions. Located about 38 kms away from Port Blair it is the best gateway to enjoy a cold night with sweet sounds the dashing waves.
Mahatma Gandhi Marine Park (Jolly Buoy Island) : It is spread in a sprawling area of 280 sq kms it has an amazing collection of the colorful marine stock and the brilliant corals spread across 15 small islands. Snorkeling is one of the main activities.
Viper Island : It holds a strong reference to the Indian Independence struggle as the freedom fighters were imprisoned and kept in captivity at a jail which was constructed here by the British, and in some cases they were brutally pushed to the gallows too.
Chatam Island : It houses one of the oldest saw mills of Asia.
Barren Island : It is the only place in India which experiences active volcanic eruptions. It can only be reached by big ships. It is about 135 kms away from Port Blair.
Little Andaman Island : The land famous for its variety of veggies is popular for its sandy shores, waterfalls and palm trees.
Ross Island : Is a popular tourist destinations which has true flavors of the by-gone British era attached to it. The remains of the Commissioner’s office, swimming pools, barracks church etc can be seen here. Smitika museum is visited by lot of travelers.
The Charming Beaches
Corbyn's Cove Beach : Japanese bunker is the main attraction. The beach beautifully lined by palm trees is ideal for having a sun bath. Modern facilities like restaurants, hotels are available.
North Bay Beach : Snorkeling and breath taking view of the corals and reefs provides great excitement. Boat runs to this island at 9 in the morning. It is one of the overcrowded beaches.
Munda Pahar Beach : This beach with crystal clear waters is ideal for swimming. Radhanagar Beach : It is one of the oldest beaches which has a little piece of history attached to it. The rare collection of photos and articals of the British can be found at Smritika museum.
Lakshmanpur Beach : Natural bridge formation is the main attraction.
Kalipur Beach : It is a virgin beach which is a breeding ground for the giant turtles.

Museums
Anthropological Museum : It showcases the culture, lifestyle and images of the four tribal groups of Andaman. It was established in the year 1975.
Samudrika : It is a store house of various types of corals, sea shells and colorful fishes.
Forest Museum is also a major hot spot that can be visited. OTHER ATTRACTIONS
Cellular Jail : Is one of the main attractions. Many freedom fighters were held in imprisonment at this jail during the British period. The sound and light show depicting the hardship undergone by the people is very heart touching.
Rajiv Gandhi Water Sports Complex : Adventure freaks can try out whole lot of water sports at this sports club. Varieties of games like Wind surfing, speed boat racing, water skiing and swimming can be enjoyed here. We can also find a children’s park close by.
Joggers Park : Provides panoramic views of the entire landscape and looks at its best when visited at dusk.
Madhuban : Located about 20kms from port Blair it houses rare species of birds, butterflies, elephants and other animals. It is a popular trekking spot as well.
Diglipur : Covered with rich green cover the serene ambience this marvelous isle is popular for the River kalpong flowing here. Hydro electric project has been started by the government on the river. Rice and Orange are the main crops.
