INTRODUCTION ABOUT DAHINA:- Dahina is located on the border of Rewari and Mahendergarh districts in present day Rewari District of Haryana. In the ancient time, a Zamindar Danda lived here with 5 sons- Sayar, Rajaas, Pachan and Zaina. Over land disputes, Zaina decided to live away from them and established separate village Zainabad just adjacent to Dahina. The remaining 4 brothers had Mohallas after their name in Dahina. Danda was a pahlwan & he was famous so people called this danda's village and now it called Dahina. In the past it was a short & backward village but due to its important location at the mid point of Rewari and Mahendergarh, the village has gained status as the biggest village in Rewari District and one the biggest in Haryana and boast of every sort of facility a city can in Haryana.

The village is home to around 13000 people with a lot of people from other states like Rajasthan, UP and Bihar employees in agricultural and construction workers, business owners and many more works.

The culture of this village is similar to a common Haryanavi village with a lot of festivals being celebrated like Makar Sakranti, Basant Panchami, Teez, Janmastami ,Goga Nomi ,Diwali are just a few. The occupation of the village is mainly agriculture, however a lot of households have Jawans working for Indian Defense and paramilitary forces. With the kind of advancement of education, Dahina has been producing engineers working in Big MNCs ,doctors and teachers and people are working in corporate sector due to proximity with industrial area of Dharuhera-Bawal, Manesar, Gurgaon. This has led to a very high increase per - capita income leading to the village among one of the most developed and prosperous villages in South Asia.

Dahina is a unique villege as compared to other villages because at present , it is not just a village ,but like a mini-city due to its huge size (Around 8 Km stretch on Rewari-Mgarh Road fall in Dahina ) and a very big market along with different type of business works .People from all the neighboring villages upto 10 km buy goods and have other services from Dahina. The market feeds to 20 villages for their daily goods both wholesale and retail market.

Holy & Diwali are the special festival but Goganavmi is the best festival because on this day Goga Baba Ka Mela held in our famous temple Baba Jinda Ka Mandir. In the evening many events are held like kusti, kabddi etc. On Makar Sakranti and Teej, events and public food offering is done at Baba Sayar Wala Mandir. On Dulhendi, Baba Manassas Mandir foundation conducts big function as well as public food offering.
