Ansure is a small fishing village located on the southern side of the Pangere beach 4.5km In front of Vijay durgh) Beach. Bordered by sea on one side. Vijay Durgh is a remarkable fort of the region that is worth visiting. Vijaydurgh in Marathi means a fort always win. This incredible structure was constructed during the rule of Maratha King Shivaji Maharaj and it took a combined effort of 100 Portuguese architects and 1000 workers to build this fort. The beautiful Village of Ansure is ideal for vacationing with family and friends. There pangere and dande beach side to keep mumbaikar happily enjoyed. The water sports facilities at Pangere Beach make it a prime destination for adventure enthusiasts. The clear waters, sparkling sand and serene atmosphere draws nature lovers to this place. A holiday in this seaside heaven is a pleasant break for the crowd in Mumbai and works like a stress buster. Lined along the Konkan Coast, the Ansure is an 60 kms long beach of pangere that from Ratnagiri rail station. Eating out at Ansure village is a pleasurable experience for food lovers. While at the place, you must try the authentic kokni food of the region that includes kombadi-vade and different varieties of fish . One of most favorite dish is Kalwa fry. During your stay you must also eat the cashew bars, Amba poli, Amba wadi, Karvande wadi and Kokam wadi.
