OverView of Ballah

The balla village exists as per historical documents since before 11th century.It was in karnal since that time and Karnal was under Dilli(Delhi).They helped Maratha in Panipat war in supply of foods as Maratha were stayed in Kunjpura,near Karnal. The balla village 900 Jats fought against in 1857 and on 14 july 1857, 100 Jats died in war.The karnal is named on Karna Kuru , Kunti putra.

It was under Haryana and haryana was big area covering some part of rajasthan,UP and other present haryana area.

The village Ballah once upon a time was known about its unity. The time was there when holi was celebrated in village with a great love and brother hood.I passed my childhood in this village. The people of this village are very simple and straight forward.The village panchayat was also functionally beautifully. Sarpanch Om Prakash s/o sri Khimla was governing village in a very beautiful way. Now I think Ranbir Singh s/o Masta Ram (return from khera village) is Sarpanch of my village and he is also a very good administrator.

Once upon a time,the jungle which is now with Ballah, was captured by Vill Salwan. The Advocate Randhir Singh Father of Surjit Singh & Teji Mann fought the case and the jungle fields has come to ballah village. We were very thankful to this family, they were living in Karnal, they were having farm house near Goli village and before 1990, the Goli village has taken back, the ballah village people were with this family, but could not take that farm house. Munak is also a small village nearby. Other village is Mormajra, where girls arya gurukul is there.
