Koti village is famous for the Nanda Rajjaat as Nanda Devi temple is located here.This village hosts the Rajjaat Yatries as 5th Padav(stay). The place is connected by a metalled road from Bagoli, distance about 12 Kms. Govt Inter College is located here for the students of nearby villages. Post office and Ayurveda Dispensary is located in Jainta at a distance of 1km.Its natural beauty is worth seeing in Monsoon season, surrounded by greenery and flowing water streams .The village is mainly dependent on Agriculture. Thick forests give it a different charm,where all wild animals live happily.Some shops for daily needs are existing here, managed by local villagers. The distance from the Tehsil (Karanprayag) is 28 Kms.The habitants of this village enjoy the life with religious rituals and worship the nature by offering new grown farming products.All Hindu festivals are celebrated here with great fervour and in a collective manner.
