About before end of seventeen century, a man named Haridas Amin from Dahegam near Amdavad, Gujarat, attracted this place Bamangam as safe on elevated ground and fertile land on bank of river Mahisagar. As of today after 350 years, population of Bamangam sprayed over many Indian cites like Amdavad, Anand, Mumbai, Nadiyad, Navsari, Surat, Vadodara and many more as well overseas like America, Australia, Africa, Canada, United Kingdom. At present some about 2000 Leuva Patidar and over 12000 all other community people are living friendly in Bamangam. Haridas had two son 1: Bhavanidas 2: Dvarkadas Bhavanidas had 2-son (2nd.generation) Dvarkadas had 4-son (2nd.generation) As population grows after some generation, it had been divided in four group for manageable system. Todays Leuva Patidars of Bamangam are belongs to godfather Haridas Amin after 350 years in 13 generations. Our grand parent became financially weak by giving large amount of money as Paithan for getting their doughers marriage in 6-Gam ( Bhadaran, Dharmaj, Karamsad, Nadiyad, Sojitra Vaso ) in charotar and rejecting to join 27-Gam Patidar Samaj for their prestige.Now later on when they can not able to bear the financial burden to support their daughter's families in 6-Gam/12-Gam, ( in many cases son-in-law and his family member gives harassment and painful punishment if their demand not fulfill from parent )Later on they joined 27-Gam Patidar Samaj. Now bride and groom are happy by getting marriages in 27-Gam. Most common farming product tobacco is famous, but now a day vegetables are also growing for getting cash money. (as tobacco dealers delays/monthly payments ) Now a days farmers of Bamangam are tired of suffering many difficulties in like getting farm workers, destroying crops by pigs, Nil guys, monkeys, disease and natural disasters. Bamangam is now connected through roads and bridges to Anand, Bhadaran, Borsad, padra and Vadodara, All the faliya and khadki pathways are paved with concrete blocks and lighted faliys with individual corners.Water supplied ever house since 60 years, electricity provided every house, bank facility available, every house is connected with central sewer system, most of the facilities are available in the bazaar which also utilize near by villages.People of Bamangam are more religious and to do their worship they establish many temples like Swaminarayana Vadtal (men 150 year old)now remodeled w/tavor-women)/BAPS Mandir, Ram Mandir, Ranchhodji Mandir, Mahadev Mandir, Hanuman Deri, Patidar Kul Devi Verai Mata, Bhathikhatri Maharaj, Kalika Devi, Jain Derasar, Jain Upasray, Ambma, Balia Dev, Ajepar Deri and Mahisagar Mata. At present old names of faliys and khakis are renamed to dedicated Load Swaminarayana and other Gods.Jai Swaminarayana.
